The tour was excellent and the guides were amazing. The VIP experience was the way to go, that way the catamaran was not overcrowded. We had 15 people and everyone was great company.

This was a fantastic day trip. A short trip out to go Snorkeling, which was a lot of fun! After snorkeling the bar was all you can drink and we took full advantage. Cocktails, tequila, cerveza all on the menu! great lunch onboard then to the beautiful isla mujures where we spent 3 hours. The open bar made for a fun trip back. Couple of points - the island is very popular and can be quite busy, be prepared to say no to a lot of merchants as you get off the boat. Its also a good idea to have a plan for the island so you can make the most of it. You can ask your friendly crew!

Caesar and all the crew were super helpful and friendly. We could fault the onboard service and information about what we were doing etc.
The catamaran didn’t feel overcrowded, which made a big difference.

The entire crew was amazing! Safe travelers. Open bar, good food and pleasant the entire time. Alex was the one that kept us informed and worked with the others to make sure we had the best experience possible. I’d do it again.

We went on this excursion on 12/8/22 with Sebastian and his crew!! They were all so amazing!! We had the best time!! Everyone was so thoughtful, caring, and friendly!! The service and lunch were amazing!! I will be recommending this trip to everyone I know visiting Cancun! Thank you to the crew for such a wonderful time and incredible memories!!
Catamaran

Sam and the crew were charismatic and fun! We sat back and enjoyed a relaxing day, doing nothing but enjoying the water and sand. We grabbed one of the reserved beach areas for the tour and relaxed all day. The Black Pearl was great and kept our drinks filled. The massage booth was remarkable and relaxing. Overall, a stress free day!

My tour guide was very informative while he was guiding us. Teaching us the interesting facts of the coral and Fish that live there. And had given off good advice of we’re we might want to get souvenirs at cheaper price which had helped out a lot.

We booked this through our hotel and did the morning tour. Despite needing to wake up so early it was an excellent time with Matt and the crew! The crew was very attentive especially considering our big group (14) While the ocean didnt provide the smoothest conditions, it was still an incredible experience. As a sailor myself I was very impressed as our captain navigated some pretty big waves with ease. I will admit the snorkeling wasn’t the best in comparison to other places, however we did see a giant sea turtle, lots of colorful fish and sting rays. Even if you are not a skilled swimmer, the crew will bring you out on a flotation device so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the sea creatures. Of course some of these are things out of control of our amazing crew. I only wish we had more time to enjoy swimming in the cove. I highly recommend this excursion and would recommend requesting Matt as your guide.

Lunch was great too! Not much to do in Isla mujeres for 3 hours~ unless you love spending time at the beach or rent a golf cart and hit the south end of it to enjoy the nice weather and the wind~

This excursion was a bonus for our group (15 pp) as we celebrated my husband's 60th birthday. Sebastian and the team were quite hospitable and made sure we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Recommend this for anyone looking to enjoy a long day of R&R in the sun.

Was an amazing time. Enrique and his crew were great. The snorkeling was superb, lunch was delicious,and the swim was amazing. I will say overall I wish the time to explore the beach was a little longer.

We had a family of 8, from 3 yo to 60 yo. Everyone had a great time. The crew really works hard to man the boat, and in addition serve food and drinks. Snorkeling was great, and an opportunity to swim in the open water off the beach was fantastic. No better way to relax than on a sailboat with someone else doing all the work. Thank you for some great memories.

It was an excellent well organised trip. Only downfall was that Cancun Adventures ask their representatives to rate the trip and mention the names before we leave the Island. They gave us wifi while on the harbour deck while awaiting to board and more or less tried to tell us what to say and mention names. I did give a great review, however, being pressurised like this is wrong! It could have easily changed my view here.

The snorkeling and swimming in the ocean were fantastic! Really enjoyed the trip. The crew and service were great! The only disappointment was the lunch. It was definitely not even close to 'gourmet '. We did go and have a good lunch at one of the restaurants on the island.
Great way to get over to Isla Mujeres

We did this excursion while spending 10 days in Cancun. The shuttle picked us up at our resort and it was about a 45 min drive to the marina. They say the have a max of 36 people on board, but that would be way too cramped. We had about 24 on board and that was a good size. Crew were fantastic (boat #8). We stopped and did some snorkeling before heading over the island to do some swimming off the shore. On the way, they provided a decent lunch (although it was only about 9:30 / 10:00 am).
They had a special reserved place on the beach on Isla Mujeres, so we just grabbed a beach bed and used that as a 'base'. Had some great food and ice cold beer from the affiliated restaurant, so that was convenient. Walked around the town for a little bit but it was pretty 'touristy'. And wow - could not believe the amount of people coming & going in that little marina. Just thousands and thousands. It was busy!! We spent about 3 1/2 hours on the island before getting back on the catamaran. It was just a relatively short ride back to the main marina and then a long ride back to the hotel (cancun traffic is crazy and they're doing construction).
Overall, a good experience but if we could make one improvement, it would be to spend more time on the catamaran. I think the tour is 5 1/2 hours and we spent a total of maybe 90 minutes on the ship.

This may be my only unfavorable review as I do not like to write about small things, but this trip was different…
It started with a wrong confirmed time for the morning, so we missed our tour after sitting and waiting for 45 min for our transport at the hotel.
****When it says departure time and your hotel on the same screen in the app … where it says departure/arrival time please note that is not the time you will be picked up! ( I understand this may have been a miscommunication which I understand but didn’t want anyone else to miss their time if they decide to go).
We were rescheduled on the afternoon boat tour and waited in the lobby for our pick up with new confirmed time, the driver was around 20 min late so it made me nervous that we missed it again. The lady on the phone said the driver was about 5 min away….
Finally on our transport we drove to the marina, in a toasty bus, and once at the marina we had to wait about another 50 min for our boat to arrive in the heat. ( no water, drinks etc) … not many seats.
Once on board we maybe received one watered down drink due to around 40 people on board with maybe 2 servers. Lunch was good but very rushed.
Snorkeling maybe lasted 20 min or so of the whole trip. ( that was one of my favorite parts)
We stopped at a swim spot for maybe 20 min with a rough current where we had to hang on to a rope the whole time so we didn’t float away. ( could have skipped this part… seemed like a waste of time?)
We made it to the Island with 2 hours of free time which was great. Although we had to take everything with us and carry it around for the two hours ( wet towels , etc.) so pack light!!!
It was a beautiful place and would go back maybe on just a ferry or transfer boat.
We had to wait around another 25 min to get back on the boat because they wanted us back 10 min early to fill out surveys but the boat was late again picking us up.
Then heading back to Cancun …maybe 1 more drink then… people were frustrated that the “open bar” was really maybe 1-2 drinks.
The boat was basically alongside 3-4 other boats with a ton of people ( same company) So many people!
There was an extremely drunk man that started out on our journey and was falling over everyone and even fell off the boat once stopped. They didn’t do anything, except pass him a lift vest. I’m surprised they let him on the boat at the beginning of the journey. He was almost throwing up on people.
I would not recommend this cruise. It was fine, but I have been on other tours that were amazing! And organized… and time efficient!

Catamaran was nice. Too rough water for snorkeling. Isand was a tourist trap. Lunch was ok.More for younger crowd.

The catamaran was great and the crew was great. I’m not sure why this was advertised as a snorkeling adventure. One of the things we wanted to do in Cancun was snorkeling, but this was extremely difficult and only a few were brave enough to try it and out of those, three had to have help to make it back to the boat. This needs to be made clear.

The catamaran, food, entertainment and staff on the catamaran were all great. We were disappointed with the island. It has been so much commercialized since our last visit a little over 10 years ago. It's a shame. The beaches are still beautiful but everything is owned by a bar/restaurant or hotel. You cannot sit anywhere without being asked to pay a fee. Thank goodness for the catamaran trip and staff or we would have given this a worse rating.

The service was great and super friendly but there’s nothing about this that screams luxury.
The tequila is cheap and it’s not lunch, it’s a snack.
It’s was a windy and cold day on the boat and too choppy to snorkel.
The island is superrrrrr touristy. We did rent a golf cart and see the ruins, which were small but interesting.
I would suggest going to the North Beach and renting a nice chair for the 3 hours while you are in the island instead though.
Maybe if it was a nicer day and we hadn’t gone at 8:30am it would have been more enjoyable.
Again the staff was excellent, and very attentive. Hector was a hysterical and a kind host. But I would save your money for another activity or cheaper boat.
