One of the most beautiful colonial cities of Yucatan and the first to be visited from the important tourist market of Quintana Roo is undoubtedly Valladolid, for the majesty of its temples and the ancestry of its old neighborhoods. After Mérida is the second city in importance and the oldest in Yucatan. Its streets and buildings preserve its glorious past and witnessed various indigenous uprisings, such as the so-called "War of Castes". Today it is a placid city where you can admire beautiful old houses, has great commercial dynamism and is a key point in the development of the state for its strategic location.

Just book!
JonB21forever, 14-09-2022
Me and my girlfriend spent quite some time searching for company's and reading reviews and have been left 100% satisfied with the experience on offer. Yes you can find tours for less and take the gamble, pray that no hidden extra expenses crop up and that your tour guide is knowledgeable and happy.... roll that dice if that's your thing.
Booking with this company resulted in a truly satisfying experience and most importantly kept that smile upon my GF's face, and NOT one of a mythical she-devil who could turn you to stone if you caught a glimpse of her!
A big modern, comfy bus with AC arrived to pick us up and we were given cold water bottles to quench our thirst. Special mention to our tour guide Martin Pech who is very knowledgeable and impressed me with his clear English and million other languages in his portfolio of knowledge. Its clear that Martin truly loves his job and is passionate and proud of his Mayan heritage.
Everything was, as is described on the website and had zero hidden expenses however, received some good advice on souvenirs resulting in purchasing something (of quality and not the usual tat I often return home with). Also after some tequila tasting in Valladolid its hard not to support the locals and come away with a bottle. (You can and should haggle on the price of the tequila.... the tequila is absolutely delicious and worth every Peso regardless of the cost). Convince the Mrs you ONLY want to help support the local community with your purchase and you too might be lucky enough to walk away with something fine to add your ever growing drink collection.
Go for a swim in the beautiful cenote with refreshing water and enjoy a cracking selection of unlimited food to refuel..... enough said.

JUST BOOK, AVOID THE STRESS AND STOP WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS AND WELL EARNED VACATION HOURS.

AND.... FAO the tour company.... I hope Martin is well payed as you're lucky to have found this guy!!! #pay rise for Martin!!
Amazing Bucket List experience ✅

Amazing experience! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to see the real Mexico.
Our tour guide Alex made the day very memorable. His English was flawless so we felt involved the whole time, he was very entertaining and very knowledgeable, also had the best playlist!! The bus was lovely and clean and the Aircon was a god send! Chichen Itza was bigger than we expected and very interesting, though I'd definitely recommend you look into Mayan mythology a bit before you go. The cenote was a bucket list experience, being in the jungle and rappelling into the water then having time to swim around. The Mayan ceremony was a nice touch and a chance to learn a bit more of the traditions. The food was traditional, very tasty and filling and served by very friendly native Mexicans.
Fun Culture Trip
michaelpW1998RR, 14-09-2022
Getting to see Chichen Itza was amazing and Martín Pech was super informative and had great stories about the culture. He was able to provide a lot of context for something that I knew very little about beforehand. I came away with a better understanding of the local culture and quite a few laughs as well. The food at the cenote was phenomenal and the quick stop in valladolid was a very cool experience.
Great tour duide

This tour was awesome! Getting picked up from our starting point was very easy and when we called customer service they were helpful. The activities planned were great. Our tour guide Martín Pech was amazing!! He is very knowledgable and proud to do his job. He made the experience that much better!
Great

Awesome experience love the way the work and luis was great. I would love to come back and thanks for be so friendly
Probably the best tour I’ve ever been on!!!
Viki G, 15-09-2022
We had a tour with Alfredo, Alan and Norma and they were the best!! It was super interactive, we felt very taken care of. I visited Mexico with my friends, they were very welcoming and nice and the tour was a whole experience. We visited Chichen Itza, went swimming at a cenote and had a quick stop in Volladolid. We tried tequilas for free, took lots of pictures, the tour also included an open buffet of traditional Mexican food and a variety of snacks and fruits. Would 1000000% recommend to anyone visiting the country if you love learning more about the local culture and trying different types of food!!! ♥️
Fantastic Day
Marviniseghehi, 15-09-2022
I HIGHLY recommend this tour! Honestly it’s been one of the best holiday experiences of my life! We missed the pick up location the crew was kind enough to turn around the coach and come back for us! Very entertaining and interesting info was given on the way to the chichen itza and throughout the tour.

Chichen itza combined with the Cenote swimming experience made it a truly beautiful day! And the history behind the mayans is mind blowing.
Great tour, but there are a couple of things that could be improved
298amirw, 15-09-2022
The tour and sites themselves were amazing and a great experience.
But there were some problems that i was not expecting such as:
1. There is an extra fee to enter the Chichen Itza.
2. It was not easy to contact the tour guide.
Amazing staff
divyankshak, 15-09-2022
Amazing people, whole staff is great..
Loved it! Definitely recommend!
mendeztiffany, 19-09-2022
The whole tour was incredible! Tino and Alemán were knowledgeable and friendly, an amazing duo that made us laugh while simultaneously educating us on the culture. Be prepared to be amazed by the beauty of the Mayas! Family friendly, even with young children- we went with our 2.5 year old- I would recommended bringing a stroller and applying sunblock. All in all, 10/10 experience.
10/10 would recommend!
efthimiosk221, 19-09-2022
The tour was great, we saw everything we hoped for, the food was very good and Ruth was a great tour guide, organized and entertaining us with stories about the history and mythos of Mexico at every turn! Would definitely recommend! The cenote was my personal favorite but be prepared for a long day. You'll be tired when you get home but it's gonna be worth it!
We went in August 2021 and the guides were very respectful of mask regulations!
Great tour, great team of guides!
jessicaoD591LN, 19-09-2022

We came here on a Monday in September. The trip was well planned and delivered what was advertised. Our trip guide Sami was knowledgeable, well spoken, and friendly. The buffet after Chichen itza had vegetarian food options. However, drinks weren’t included in the fee. There was no lineup in cenote and looked surreal. I would book them again in the future.
DEFINITELY COMING BACK!
DeepHaven8407, 19-09-2022
It was AMAZING!!! The operation is flawless. The crew is wonderful. Alan is the sweetest person and knowledgeable about everything on this tour. Ricardo is the best driver I’ve ever seen! Such a comfortable ride with AC the entire time and bathroom inside the bus as well as comfortable and reclinable chairs. There is space on top of seating to place belongings. Ladies bring a backpack, extra pair of clothes, hats, sun glasses and comfortable shoes and face masks because they are required in some places. Overall unbelievable! Thank you!
This tour made my trip!!!
DGworldtour, 19-09-2022
Our hosts Alan and Ricardo were amazing hosts on this tour. Their knowledge of the history made the tour even more worth while. The tour was very organized and fulfilling to do with my family.

The food was great and authentic & the last stop in the city were the best deals to do your shopping so hold off on those souvenirs if you plan to do a tour !

You will be doing a lot of walking so be prepared to put on your best walking shoes with your cutest fashionable look to take lots of photos!!!

Thank you! My family truly enjoyed it.
Amazing tour experience!!!
moao2019, 19-09-2022
An amazing tour from start to finish. The communication in the lead up to the tour was clear and efficient. Alan was our tour guide and gave great insight along the way, his humour and detail kept the group engaged and entertained. Ricardo was our driver and provided a smooth and relaxing journey there and back. The bus was also clean and spacious with the added bonus of charging points. 10/10!!!
Day Well Spent
595kellig, 19-09-2022
Alan was an amazing tour guide, the long rides were worth it due to his informative commentary on the area and Mayan history. We loved this tour as it taught us so much about the history of many things we’ve now come to know. It also helps that we’ve crossed off another Great Wonder of the world from our bucket list.

Shoutout to Ricardo our driver who brought us safely and comfortably!!

I’ll be sure to recommend to anyone coming to Tulum/Playa Del Carmen!
An amazing experience

Our family of five just returned from this day tour — what a fantastic time. From start to finish everything ran smoothly and efficiently—everything from the bus, timeliness/scheduling, different attractions, food. Etc. the absolute best part were our leaders for the day. Norma, Edwin and Ivan were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and committed to doing everything in their power to ensure a great experience for all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! An excellent day —well worth the price!
Excellent day in Mexico
dintravels, 12-12-2022
This tour was an absolutely amazing experience. Our tour guides, Alan and Mike, and our wonderful bus driver Arturo made it an unforgettable experience. It was equally informative and entertaining, so much so that we didn’t even want to sleep on the ride home despite the 12 hour day. We were just so energized by the whole experience. Book this without hesitation if you’re looking for a memorable day during your stay!!
Excellent.
K5231KOmiked, 12-12-2022
Chichen Itza is unbelievable and you have to go if you are in Mexico and are close enough. Helped with a great guide who really knew the history and details of the ancient Mayan people & language etc. The Cenote was also incredible and I’ve never swam in anything like it before. Absolutely Beautiful. Alan & Mike we’re both very welcoming, knowledgeable and funny. Arturo the driver was great and also contributed to the fun time travelling on the coach.
Experience one of the world’s seven wonders!
Chris N, 12-12-2022
Friendly staff, on time pickup, and a great addition to our Cancun trip. We booked the all-inclusive option and found it well worth it for the experience!

Trip to Chichen Itzá, Cenote, Vallodolid
Seniorloca, 15-12-2022
The trip was an overall good experience. The guys (Alan, Samuel, and Luis) made us feel very safe and they were very helpful since we were traveling with a toddler (car seat, stroller). Alan was witty and entertaining. Because it was a long drive, there was no time to shop from the vendors there at Chichen Itzá. I can’t say much about the information given by the tour guide since I’m hearing impaired and the humidity affected my hearing aids. I would highly recommend this tour.
A day of fun. Just do it
zach_sm_goes, 15-12-2022
This was such a dope experience. My favorite part was swimming in the Cenote. I’m not a strong swimmer at all and I was still go in the water but didn’t let go off that rope lol. The lunch was so good! It was rough doing anything after eating as much as I did. I loved it. Allan and Miguel were great hosts! They were very knowledgeable about the different sites we stopped at and had great senses of humor.
What a day!
354shareeg, 14-12-2022
Long day but great day! Carlos was amazing your guide at Chichen Itza. His knowledge is amazing and his enthusiasm is infectious!
Allen lead us the the Cenote and a little shopping trip. He always explained everything ahead of time so it was very comfortable. The team made us feel safe and we had an awesome day!
Myan history 101
jkdgi, 14-12-2022
Luiz 22 was a great adventure although I am pooped by the end of day. You’ve got to do this once in your life time!!! Only thing I wish is that seats were little more spacious as we were in the bus for total 6-7 hours. It was chaotic at times, but that’s because Chichen Itza is 7 wonders of the world. I am glad I survived through it
Chichen Itza tour review
jdep121, 14-12-2022
Great commentary and information on the Mayan civilization by Luis and Mike. Plenty of time provided for shopping and picture taking as well.
lovely experience
583ivyl, 15-12-2022
We booked 2 days before the trip and had a great experience! Thank you to Vickman for his informative guided tour, Manuel for his safe driving, and Rey for his knowledgeability and conversations. There was enough time for each location, and we had an optional (and free) tequila tasting at Valladolid. Probably one of the most economical tours and, more importantly, most friendly crew of people. Definitely recommend. Wonderful experience, thank you!
Best experience when visiting Cancun
802tristah, 15-12-2022
My husband and I are visiting from Australia on our honeymoon and this tour has by far been the best thing we did while in Cancun. Tour guides Rey, Manuel and Victor Manuel spoke in both English and Spanish making it easy for us to understand and were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. They were also very informative and entertaining.
MUST DO TOUR IF YOU WANT AN AUTHENTIC TASTE!
amandabS9172UH, 15-12-2022
Probably the best tour I’ve done in Mexico! Really knowledgeable team and amazing day overall - the historic understanding was enlightening and the cenote was so refreshing! Mostly it was our guides that made the tour fun, the long drive from Cancun bearable and packed with cool facts about agave farms we passed and other historical features, and an extremely positive experience of the culture in Mexico. They were Victor Manuel - the driver, Victor - the chichen tour guide, and Rey who gave us loads of info on the bus and kept us on time.

Chichen Itza was really interesting, loads of info I had no clue about before. Being from Egypt, I didn’t realise there were similar pyramids around the world that had such cool features.
The cenotes tour was also amazing! So refreshing to jump in! The included buffet had a wide selection of authentic Mexican cuisine with desserts and also tequila tasting - you only had to pay for drinks and a life vest/locker.
Lastly, we visited the city of Valladolid that had a huge church in the centre - luckily we visited around the anniversary of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the town was bustling with Mexicans in traditional clothing! It was really interesting to see.

I recommend to buy souvenirs from around the pyramids as they are so much more affordable and the people there I feel were locals who deserved it ❤️

Once again! A tour not to miss! It was so much fun!
Best experience in Cancun
daviddchristian, 05-01-2023
The guides, Cesar and Samuel, were informative and caring, te food was amazing, the best experience in the Yucatan. Great value for the cost.
Good experience!
R8631NIevat, 05-01-2023
Is’s a bit disappointed that the Chichen Itza is closed today. However, the tour took us to Ek Balam instead, which is amazing too. We can climb to the top of the site to see the view. Then we went to cenote, which is also beautiful! After that, we had a wonderful lunch. Highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful time
O4692JNpaulan, 05-01-2023
The best guide (Cesar and Samuel) very informative, helpful and a great attitude! The places were so beautiful, the food was amazing authentic Mexican food!
The driver Alfredo made our trip very safe and for sure I’ll come back with my friends and family.
Gracias por tudo!
Love everything
tichau, 05-01-2023
Every staff is so friendly, informative, and funny! I have learned so many things from the trip. Would recommend it to everyone :)
Great experience.
D674TFthomask, 05-01-2023
Great experience with kind, funny and knowledgeable guides (Cesar, Samuel, Alfred). Perfect amount of time at each site. We went to Ek Balam instead of Chichen Itza due to current restricted access, and the alternate option was well coordinated by the company.
Excellent excursion
Randy R, 07-01-2023
Excellent excursion, well worth the money. Chichen Itza was closed so we toured Ek Balam instead. We were notified of the situation a few days in advance, which we appreciated. I don’t know how the sites compare, but Ek Balam was interesting and impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the cenote and feasting at the all-you-can-eat buffet at Selva Maya. The final stop in Valladolid included a tequila tasting, but we opted to walk around the city square and purchase a few souvenirs. I wish we had more than 30 minutes there. Rey and Pastor were excellent guides, and Alfredo did an outstanding job driving the tour bus.
Book! Book! Book!
FLL1991, 07-01-2023
We lucked out with our reps Rey and Pastor (and driver Alfredo!) who were funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately Chichen Itza was closed but a quick alternative was given to visit Ek Balam. What a place! Climbing the Mayan temple is an experience we'll never forget, and left knowing so much more. Pastor guided us in English and Rey in Spanish with jokes and interesting facts. The cenote swimming was incredible (remember to take towels!! $22 on site for one!!) and lunch provided was a good quality. Ending in Valladolid with tequila tasting (an option we couldn't turn down) and a chance to spend lots of money which we gladly did after such an excellent day.
I would highly recommend this trip; picked up early in a large air-conditioned coach, great tour guides and a full day of fun and learning.
Ek Balam and Cenote Saamal Tour
Hope R, 07-01-2023
Our driver Alfredo, and our guides, Pastor, and Rey were warm, funny, informative, and taught us all a lot about Mayan culture and the geography of Yucatán. It was a great day! I’m so glad we did this trip! The cenote saamal was incredible and Ek Balam are the only ruins you can still climb up! Amazing day!!❤️
A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE
399andig, 15-09-2022
I cannot explain the feeling you get standing in an ancient city so full of culture, history, and wonder. The beauty of the waters you will swim in and the vegetation you will see are truly breathtaking. The food is so delicious you will want to replicate it at home. Our tour guides Norma and Alan Were wonderful and helpful. I was disappointed at the lack of time we got in the historic village. I do understand the reason for this but I missed the chocolate shop. Also being shouted at to buy things is very stressful and intimidating. However a small price to pay for such an amazing experience. I am truly grateful to have experienced and learned so much of this beautiful culture.
Beautiful sites!
Anna G, 18-09-2022
The bus was comfy and air-conditioned! Tino and Alaman were the guides, they were awesome. Very knowledgeable and great explanations of the history. I learned a ton! The sites were amazing, the cenote was one of the prettiest places I've seen. I did feel rushed during the cenote and shopping, mostly shopping at the final.stop. More time to actually visit more than one shop or site would have been nice.
Fun time
baoh648, 18-09-2022
Tino gave a great history, Alimon was fun as well. They were both very helpful, answered all questions & took care his guest very well
Unforgettable Experience!!
Christina_S, 15-12-2022
So first of all the absolute best part of our tour was our guide Norma. She taught us so much about the Mayan culture on our long drive to location. It made the drive fly by. She is captivating and entertaining and I'm pretty sure is my new favorite person ever. She is an angel on earth and I dont know what she gets paid but I do know she needs a raise. Our other guide Thor was very helpful and organized and the nicest man. I will say though that he did the guided part at Chichen Itza and it was very hard to hear him and the pace was very slow and took a long time on his delivery of information. This left our free time to a minimum before it was on to the next destination. The cenote portion was timed perfectly and lunch was good. Norma gave us great advice to make the process as easy as possible once we got there.
30 minutes at the last stop was just enough and Norma's explanation of Valladolid on our drive in was great. Ultimately I felt that the company is extremely reputable, reliable, and organized and the guides are truly passionate about what they do. It was a great day and I would highly recommend.
Great tour with Alan
pranavramkrishnan, 08-01-2023
Had a nice tour and Alan did a great job with the tour - he was also a very educative and fun guide! The only point I wished was more time and a deeper tour of Chichen Itza - this part of the tour felt a bit rushed and hasty.
Good tour
chrissW4095PH, 07-01-2023
Wonderful experience at the Saamal Cenote, beautiful colonial town of Valladolid with and abundance of tourist shops . Chichen Itza was wonderful just wish we would have separated from the guide and had more time to explore the whole place rather than concentrate most of our time on El Castillo.
Underwhelmed
Rachel B, 15-12-2022
Firstly, the booking experience is confusing. You have the same tour listed with a $30 difference. So we booked the more expensive option as it said it included entrance into chichen itza - when we get on the bus we were told that this is not the case. Because our hotel wasn't listed on the drop down for collection, the all inclusive that we paid for apparently didn't count. So we ended up having to pay the entrance fee twice essentially. We weren't the only people that had this issue so I'd like this looking into and for a refund to be issued.

Next, we waited more than an hour before we actually left playa del Carmen with no explanation as to why.

The tour guide was friendly but spoke a lot which becomes a little draining after a while.

Chichen itza felt like a constant sales pitch with all the stalls selling the same stuff. The temple itself is very impressive, but the masses of stalls hawking stuff was overwhelming and distracts from the experience and makes it inauthentic

The cenote was nice - pretty crowded which is to be expected. The lunch was great though.
