We decided to parasail and snorkel on our visit to Total Snorkel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in.
Parasailing was awesome but I wish the time we were in the air was longer. 10 min felt like 4.
Snorkeling was amazing! I wish I remembered our guideâs name but he was very cool and upbeat. The gear was in good shape and I really liked the life vests they gave- you could swim down to the bottom to get closer if you wanted to. We saw fish, tortoises, a ship wreck, and an underwater cenote. The whole experience was amazing and I wish I had gone 2 more times.
They also have a photographer with a GoPro that joins your party but they charge up to $65 for the lot of pictures/videos, per activity. That was too much for my budget. In my opinion, bring your own GoPro or waterproof case for your phone.
I think they should serve food or have a taco truck set up for people that have to wait between their activities. We did buy snacks but would have liked to have more options. Or just eat before you go.

Swimming in paradise

Our Guide Robert was very good. He was a full tour guide not just a snorkel supervisor. He told us about history and about the fish and turtles we got to swim with. We took our Grandsons for a graduation reward to Cancun and they had never been snorkeling before and now they can't wait to go again!

This was a great experience all around, from the pickup at the hotel to the dropoff back at the hotel. Roberto was very energetic and personable. He made sure everyone was ready to go on time and was comfortable with what they were doing. It was my wifes first time snorkeling and she is not a great swimmer. In the water when she had trouble, he was right there helping, and ended up towing her around with the rescue donut and rope. She had a great time as a result and got to say she was swimming with a turtle.
The parasailing was also amazing. We had a great flight that was almost twice as long as the one we did in Hawaii last year.
I could go on, but long story short, this is the experience I recommend to anyone going to Cancun.

Amazing snorkeling and parasailing trip

Both snorkeling and parasailing were great. We went mainly for the parasailing but the snorkeling was probably the better of the two. We saw many fish, sea turtles, the shipwreck, etc. Our guides were great in both the parasailing and snorkeling. Barracuda and Oliver were great with their communication and instructions. Oliver catered the trip to what we wanted and our swim skills. Would recommend to anyone looking for a snorkel trip, great experience.
