AMAZING

The most anazing place for my family - worth every penny! Our girls are 13 and 10 and we all loved it much more than the main x caret park. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Definitely recommend - Great day out!
Rubber_Duckie89, 08-09-2022
We booked direct for the tickets including hotel transfers. The day didn't start brilliantly when our bus broke down but a replacement came quickly. The river tubing was so much fun! I did the cliff of courage jump and the ziplines mid-way along too. Definitely use the flippers, without them it took about 1/2 hour longer. We had lunch at the Mexican buffet, I enjoyed this but not so good for unadventurous eaters - the Xel-ha cocktail was great too.
We also snorkelled and I went on the water slide.
We were staying at Grand Palladium Riviera Maya and they travel took about half an hour each way.
It was a 10/10

One of the best experiences ever. From roundtrip transportation to all the services provided in the park. I loved the variety of food and activities provided. All the staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you with any need that you may have.
Family fun and perfect blend of nature, culture, and water Park.

What a beautiful blend of nature, culture and Water Park fun. We visited in December which is the coolest time to come visit Mexico but the weather was still warm and the water while initially a little cold we quickly became acclimated with the initial chilliness. The first ride we went on was the lighthouse slide which was a thrill and thankfully the lines weren't long so we were able to go two times in a row. There are 2 total rides you can go on with the slide so going twice is suggested. The lazy river entrance is a little walk to get to and I recommend swimming with fins and a snorkel as the tubes go really slow and can take a very long time to get to the common area. The swim is easy as you are equipped with a life jacket and swimming is much faster than floating on a tube or flotation device. The food and drinks are all inclusive so I recommend going in the morning so you can have breakfast and lunch. The food options are plentiful and the drinks which include alcoholic beverages are convenient and fun. The park has premium attractions which are extra cost but we were happy with the included activities. Overall we were very happy with our time at xel ha and recommend them highly. Thank you to the staff there for helping our family make beautiful memories.

We had a great time. Tried the Sea Trek and would recommend. Customer service was outstanding. The food was good. It's very organized.
Absolutely fun water activities!
Cath G, 27-11-2022
We enjoyed this place so much. Even though my friend cannot swim, she got to experience the dolphin interaction and sea trek and had so much fun. No need to mention as someone who likes water activities as always, how much I enjoyed snorkeling and water slide here. Everything was convenient: towel, shower, gears, and all-inclusive restaurants and bars everywhere. Special thanks to Daniel at the Zipline who dived to help me finding my GoPro that fell into the River!!!
Great experience and beautiful scenery

What a wonderful experience we had. Such an amazing place to visit and enjoy. Our tour guide Mauricio helped us achieve the best experience ever within the amount of time that we had to explore the park. The food was excellent too! we visited in Nov 21 and it was perfect weather for us, totally recommend it.
Amazing

Is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. It was pretty easy for us to do the whole park in a day although we didn’t do any extra paid activities. I would recommend bringing water shoes and wearing flip flops, we ended up just staying in our bathing suites all day as even on the jungle side you will want to hop into the cenote or do the cave. I would definitely recommend going as early as possible as even at 9:30 there was a huge crush in the locker area.
Tips for xel-ha
VivekM75, 27-12-2022
Tips for xel ha:
1. Book tickets online and if possible at least a week in advance for lower prices. Kids pay half price, adults pay anywhere from $90 to $115 depending on when you book and if there are discounts.
2. Get there before 9am to beat the crowd. Go straight to the big water slide. Line gets long there pretty quickly.
3. The park is a loop so you can pick a direction and get to all the activities. In a full day, we snorkeled, walked a floating bridge, ziplined into water, jumped off the cliff of courage, floated on the river, swam the cenotes, saw stingrays and dolphins and ate lunch. Not rushing at all this was a 9 to 5 day.
4. Lockers and towels are in many places at no extra charge
5. Food is standard all inclusive fare.
6. We took a colectivo to xel ha and back. Cheapest transportation, felt safe and very efficient.
7. Overall a great experience, good for active families that like water activities.
Excellente!!

This park is amazing!
The food and drinks were soooo yummy and there was so much variety!
The staff throughout the park were all super friendly and helpful when we asked questions.
The activities themselves were very fun!
I jumped of a cliff while doing the lazy river. The best and most natural lazy river I've ever done by the way.
I swung from a rope and jumped into one of their many beautiful cenotes.
I was scared doing the activities because I've never done some of them before, however I took the leap, literally, and they were awesome!
I would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend this park!!
P.s. I've been to xcaret too and it was great as well!
Great

Everything was great but we felt the pick up time was long we wished there was a way to leave a little earlier it’s Definitely a must do and the food is great but prepare your self to take a taxi back if u don’t want to stay
At the entire time till your bus leaves
Great family day
happyWarrington, 04-09-2022
Great experience especially if you have a mixed group of ages. Lots of relaxation spaces as well as zip wires etc so those not talking part in activities can watch etc. We went on a cloudy rainy day which was perfect. Definitely wear beach shoes. Food and drinks were surprisingly good quality.
Only let down was the changing areas where there are no changing booths only toilet cubicles. The locker area has cctv.
A great park in Mexico

Such a great experience. A fun filled day with all kinds of activities. Definitely a place id visit again. There were a few thing to keep in mind. Be sure to keep you snorkel gear from the beginning of the river because I return the gear to go eat thinking it was going to be the same. The gear at the entrance wasn’t up to par its a full face mask, and is very annoying when it fills with water and the visor fogs up way quicker. I had to take a trip back up the river to get the one I originally had which was your traditional mask and snorkel. It took about an hour to retrieve again but was worth it for the experience I wanted. The zip lines, and cliff jumping was so much fun. Snorkeling was incredible all throughout the park swimming with all kinds of fish and sea creatures. Food and alcohol met my expectations and was easy to access.
Also keep in mind the spiral slide that about 10 stories tall is a little dangerous for larger people like myself 6ft 220lb. I didn’t get hurt but Ive hear people who have when you push yourself off at the top to get more speed. Towards the bottom your going so fast and you feel the seams between the slides that was uncomfortable and it hurt my back a little then all a sudden it turns the other way, next thing you know your under water. It was very exciting overall and I rode it again without pushing my self off and it was perfect. Def want to bring my friends here!
Going downhill

This was our third time at Xel-Ha and all three times Adrenalina was not running! We understand it is weather dependent for safety reasons so we purposely booked our visit on the day with the lightest wind forecast. During the morning I asked three different activity purchase spots if we could book a ride and all said it was closed. I asked if it would open, was told No. Then over lunch we actually hear the boat running!!!! so we go to book and get told - "no it's closed, last ride was at 1PM" Seriously WTF??? Done with this - never coming back! As for the snorkeling - instead of a beautiful lagoon the area is now a dirty lake. Saw far less fish than ever. When I tried to snorkel in the best area past a bridge - I got kicked out because they were running a power snorkel activity. There were no signs on the map about this area being off limits. I did the big slide twice - views were amazing but the slide was SLOW! I was actually afraid I was going to stop half way. Shooting out the bottom was the best part. I watched part of the ray activity from the slide tower. Felt bad for this beautiful ray being manhandled... I need to do my part and stop going to these over crowded places in Mexico torturing marine life...
'Xuper' but 'Xpensive' haha!

A hidden wonder for sure and we thoroughly enjoyed our day! 1 day is just enough to explore this hidden wonder if you wish not to purchase any of the extras. Lovely to see it well looked after and remaining so very natural, despite our human footprints. The entire trip was quite enjoyable from the collection, bus trip from the hotel and return to our hotel. The Xcaret buses are a trip in their own right as they're so cute! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip here and told everyone exactly that! It's expensive, there's no denying that but food and drink are all included during the day and so is travel to and from your hotel so it's what it is.
Things we didn't like were the trapped animals such as the dolphins and mantarays (the dolphins for sure are in an enclosure far too small and ideally shouldn't be in one at all). The lazy river was gorgeous but just far too short an experience and the cost for all the added extras are very expensive on top of an already expensive ticket.
