The next stop will be in the traditional downtown area of Isla Mujeres, known by the locals, where you can walk the picturesque and friendly streets, rent a golf car or buy those unique souvenirs to remember our magical piece of paradise.
Journey back to Cancun on your catamaran. Dance on deck to the music played by your guides, or relax and gaze at the sunset.

Catamaran Tour to Isla de Mujeres

This trip was an Absolute Blast! It may not be the fanciest catamaran tour, but I know we had the MOST fun with Captain Jack and his EXCEPTIONAL Crew! The other tours were much more crowded with 50-60 people crammed on their catamaran, but our smaller Smooth Life catamaran had around 15 people and Captain Jack made it an effort to remember our names and where we were from, quite Impressive! Booking was easy with Isabel, and then off to the island which was a fun experience snorkeling, drinking, singing and dancing! We had a BLAST on this tour!!!

Joss was a fantastic guide, and the whole crew was attentive and amazing, making sure everyone had a great time. Snorkeling was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed having the time to explore the island at our leisure.

This was an amazing experience for my family & I. Joss was a great host. Her energy definitely made this experience better. Everyone in the team was very attentive. The bartender took good care of us. The water is so clear and clean . If you’re in Cancun , do this tour . You won’t regret it!

The trip was good. There was a delay in pick up by a separate company the main tour company uses which was slightly annoying. However we met Joss and friends who were excellent and took us on a catamaran over to Isla Mujeres. The day was great, filled with drinks, fun and jumping into the sea. I would recommend if you would like to see Isla Mujeres.

Take this tour! I went on this tour with my bachelorettes. We had time to relax, drink, enjoy the sun, and snorkel. We never felt rushed and it a few people did not show up. It was basically a private catamaran. Plus, we had 3 hours to spend on isla mujeres. So worth the money! Joss was a great tour guide. She and the crew members were super accommodating! They made sure we had a great time. When in cancun again, we will book this tour again.

Our tour was Jos!! She was very fun, exciting, bubbly! From the start she made us feel very warm and welcoming! On the boat, we were on the River Tam. The crew was so nice, helped us on and off the boat. Had time to snorkel and swim in the water. Had time to play in the sand on Isla Mujeres! The kids fell asleep on the bus back to the hotel. Would definitely do it again with Jos!
Only thing to change would be providing a snack on the way TO the boat. We left so early that a light snack would have been nice. Otherwise it was AMAZING!

This trip was very enjoyable! The staff were all very friendly. I went with my 5 friends and it was all our first time in Cancun. Started our day at 7:30 (picked up from our hotel on hotel zone), made our way to the dock and disembarked on a catamaran to Isla Mujeres. We stopped to snorkel halfway through, however I was not able to participate due to the heavy current. My friends said it was beautiful— they saw a lot of fish, even statues underwater. The catamaran crew were exceptional, and open bar drinks were very refreshing. On Isla Mujeres, we opted for a 1 hour golf cart tour ($50/golf cart) so we were able to see a good chunk of the island. We were given 3 hours of free time to explore the island, and our guide recommended we ate at Muelle 7. (If you want delicious, fresh seafood I recommend this place as well). Overall, our experience was great, definitely a day we won’t forget.

Joss and the boat crew were all amazing! It was a smaller and more intimate boat which was fantastic as we wanted a fun but still relaxed time. Isla Mujeres was gorgeous and I loved the snorkeling. Would recommend

Had a great tour today!! A few bumps, but not the tours fault. The water was extremely rough and we had a hard time finding the boat after it was moved. I kinda thought we were not going to make it! Scary with my 13 year old. We should not have gone into the water. The island was great. Then my son dropped his phone into the water off the boat while we were waiting to leave. Our amazing guide dove down a few times and was able to find it! So while I hated the snorkeling the staff was top notch!

Got there before 9 and didn’t leave the dock until 10:30. The trip was great and worth it! Go with a different reservation if you want more than an hour on the island

Really enjoyed the trip on the catamaran. Joss and the crew made a real party boat feel. It was too windy to go snorkelling in the reef (no boats were stopping there) but jumping off the boat was fun. Taking a golf cart round the island is recommended, you can do the whole island in an hour Joss got the group a much better deal with the vendor than if going in alone. The beaches are the ideal white sand.

The overrall experience was alright although there were major things that soured my experience. First of all half of the itinerary that was advertised was completely untrue.
The major flaw with the experience was that it was advertised as 3hrs of free time on the island and we were barely given an hour. To me that was the biggest draw to the experience and only having what was barely an hour to mingle in the island soured the whole experience for me. I barely got to playa Norte and got wet for 10 mins before I had to rush back - didn’t even get to buy from the locals or eat on the island.
Second, the experience advertised that there was no lunch included to give us the chance to eat on the island however this is yet again false because part of the experience was apparently a buffet that I guess was available for certain purchases which again we were not informed of and also saw another group get denied the buffet even though it said it was included on theirs. I had to pay 50 out of pocket to get me and my gf something to eat at that point. We were starving and I could only wonder and feel bad about the two young ladies from Spain I mentioned earlier who got lied on their booking as well because they mentioned they didn’t eat before coming specifically for that reason. That was just absolutely ridiculous I was lucky to have an extra $50 to buy the buffet even though what I really wanted was the local island food.
Whatever it is, there clearly is really bad communication between the booking agency and the touring agency because even when I was at the ferry getting my physical ticket I had to wait because they did not have me on file I will admit I did book it the day before but I believe that’s more than enough time to get the information correct and to the right people, it’s not like I booked it at midnight (I did at like 3pm).
The one saving grace was the catamarans crew; they were GREAT, very professional and friendly, accommodating, they did everything within their scope of responsibilities to try and give us a good experience and I did appreciate that I had a lot of fun with them. The experience would’ve been way better if not amazing had what was advertised been true - just extremely disorganized and very false and incorrect on behalf of the administration when it came to the listing.
I think I will just take the ferry next time and I would recommend others to do so and if you do book one of these don’t make the same mistake I did and trust the booking agencies or their admin staff to hold up their part of the deal CALL AND MAKE SURE as soon as you get your tickets to make sure everything is in order.
I also want to reiterate that the crew and trip on the catamaran was awesome. My soured experience had nothing to do with them and most of my woes fall on the booking agency.
