What To Expect

Tulum Archaeological Site
Tulum stands on a bluff facing east toward the Caribbean Sea. Tulúm is also the Yucatán Mayan word for fence, wall[1] or trench. The walls surrounding the site allowed the Tulum fort to be defended against invasions. Tulum had access to both land and sea trade routes, making it an important trade hub, especially for obsidian.

Tulum Tour

We took a tour of Tulum and it was amazing. As soon as you walk in, the landscape is just breathtaking Our tour guide Luis gave a detailed description of the culture which was very informative and also discredited presumptions about the culture.
Perfect tour guide and beautiful scenes
Roscoe N, 19-09-2022
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We were picked up by our driver Manuel who was very polite and helpful and took us to meet our tour guide, Luiz. Luiz was the perfect guide, very funny and welcoming and gave very good advice from the beginning. Both parts are equally beautiful and a great day out. It’s well organised and we felt in good hands at all times!
Cenotes hit the Spot

Great trip mainly due to the enthusiasm and sense of humour of the guide Ruth who was superb.I struggled with the heat at the Tulum ruins as there was little shade and it was the middle of the day with the blazing sun beating down.As a result it was difficult to take in all the information about this great place. The cenotes allowed me to cool off after however. Thanks Ruth for a memorable trip and also helping me with my Spanish.Muchos gracias.

Luis was our guide and was very informative and nice guy. Took us to Tulum and gave some good info on the mayans then went to the local Cenotes for a quiet dip. Would recommend.
Was great!

Easy going tour guide Luis, beautiful places, some historical knowledge and good tips, we enjoyed! :)
Wonderful Tour!

Luis was amazing! So knowledgeable and made the entire tour flow very well.
Tulum is fascinating but we absolutely loved the Cenotes especially with our two young kiddos. Wish we had more time to swim!
Maxmattwell, 12-12-2022
Luis was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, patient, and laid back. The cenote we went to was not open to the public, only for tours like we were on and was very secluded and absolutely beautiful.
Fun time in Tulum
kellyz604, 12-12-2022
Luis was our tour guide and he was great! It was my second tour with him (first was chichinitza) and he was informative, kind, and funny. He goes into a lot of detail about the history of the Mayan culture which is great for people who are interested in learning more about historical facts! I recommend this tour and having Luis as your guide!
Well organized. Fun. Longer than expected
Rene_B, 12-12-2022
South hotel zone, pickups took 2 hours alone. Luckily most the trip was in a 60-seater-comfy-ac bus.

Other than that, and a flash rain tropical rainstorm at the ruins. Ruth and crew did a good job.

Trip said 6 hours. Including the unexpected traffic it took 10 hours. Maybe 8 hours if no traffic. Would go again
Awful office and communication Amazing Tour Guid!
Mohammad D, 11-12-2022
Awful experience with the office and whoever manages the itinerary and AMAZING EXPERIENCE with tour guid guy “Thor” who made the trip wonderful and was very nice and informative and helped us very much. The complain is only on the office and whoever manages the communication as we received two messages/emails the day before, one stating pick up time is 7 AM and another one 8:40 AM, I messaged their WhatsApp and called them on WhatsApp many times for a confirmation and had no luck then had active my roaming ($30) to contact the Mexican number, called 10 times and tried any number no luck!! At the day, we tried to guess which time was correct and stayed at the lobby waiting. We almost convinced that we were scammed!!! Till after 20 minutes of waiting a Van showed up!! Later that day while we were on the tour we recorded a text confirming the time for pick up !!!!! Seriously!!!!??? If it was not for the nice lead by “Thor” which made up for and made us happy I would given 1 Star/5!!! Hopefully management see this.
Martin, our tour guide...

Martin, our tour guide was very accommodating, informative and friendly. We liked the option of picking up at our hotel.
Tulum city ruins tour and cenote
Myk A, 15-12-2022
The tour was great. Edwin had lots of good information about Tulum having studied archeology and coming from the Mayan culture. The ride was long but very well driven. Great food at frosty's after the Tulum city tour. The cenote was awesome to see the undergrowth and relax in the natural waters.
Good experience!
petercS8964WU, 15-12-2022
Very good! Chayu was a great driver and Edwin was a super funny and friendly tour guide. The trip was safe and easy to navigate and the hotel pickup and drop off was very convenient and punctual.

This tour AMAZING. The ruins were such a beautiful archeological site with wonderful views, the the cenotes were very very cool to swim in. I felt like a mermaid lol. Overall, I felt very relaxed and not rushed. Luis was our tour guide, and he was knowledgeable and comedic. 10/10
476natkak, 15-12-2022
Luis, my tour guide, was very polite and well mannered, he made the experience wonderful. He didn’t rush our group, unlike other tour guides, and had a humorous personality as well. The experience itself was incredible, and beautifully arranged. I would %100 do it again.
Tulum and Cenotes

Luis had an incredible amount of historical knowledge to share. Without a good guide, seeing ruins is meaningless.
Interesting experience!! Great guides!
Trip02310462117, 05-01-2023
Our guides Tino and Martin was great! A lot of knowlege about the sites and most of all had the best humor to entertain us all. The Tulum ruins was okay, cenotes were great!! Had so much fun! One thing to mention is that our tour was caught in a traffic and took 11hours in total. So I recommend you to book on a free day!
Good excursion

Tino and Martin are wonderful tour guides! They organized things well and explained every single sites clearly. Very good trip.
Great time in the Yukatan
Camper816334, 04-01-2023
The trip once we hit the road was great. Enough time was spent at all the locations. Cesar, Julio and Alfredo (our bus driver) were informative and super friendly.
Exciting - traffic jam - incredible ending
shanghee_s, 06-01-2023
The mayan remains were educational to my kids. Picturesque sceneries were admirable. Tour guides, Tino and martin, were excellent to solve a problem catching my airplan. Especially thank the driver who picked our lugguages and drove to the airport just on time.
Fantastic Tulum and Cenote experience!
Miamigirl71, 07-01-2023
I just finished my day with Thor! He was so knowledgeable and kind. He waited patiently for each traveler and made sure we each had water, food and were taken care of. He shared valuable insights on the Mayan culture and history that I really appreciated! Thank you Thor!
Would love to go again!
jjeung88, 07-01-2023
Tulum & Cenotes is definitely a must go! Thor was really funny and a great thor-guide (his joke, not mine haha). Would go again if I could!

Tulum and cenotes
elladinh51407, 07-01-2023
The easy transportation and friendly tour guide. The cenotes was refreshing after the hot tour. But breakfest and drinks should be provided.
Must experience
Iheartnou, 07-01-2023
Thor was an amazing tour guide. He made the experience fun and not boring. Highly recommend him. My favorite part was the cenotes. I wish we spent more time there.
moisoiua, 13-12-2022
The tour organizers are not responsive and I think that they need to improve. We booked a tour with pickup from meeting point because it was 20$ cheaper. The meeting point was at our hotel and for 3 days it stayed like that, but with 10hours before the trip, they changed the meeting point without details. It was difficult to find it but the fact that we couldn’t cancel the trip anymore was annoying. The trip was great and the guid was nice, Hulio, was grea.
Cenotes awesome, ruins my ok busy to be fun
Andrea_S, 05-01-2023
Ruth was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable about Mayan culture and society. Super interesting! But not great for kids. We were standing still in direct sun, rather than finding some shade for these talks and it went on for quite awhile. My kids couldn’t handle the heat and just weren’t interested enough, so we walked awhile on our own and then just got lunch. The Cenotes were a highlight. Not so incredibly crowded like the ruins and cool, clear water. We all enjoyed that part a great deal: I’d recommend the Cenotes but would skip the ruins. Far too many people there to be able to enjoy the history and too hot to stand in the sun for an hour trying to hear our tour guide over all the other guides conveying similar information. Go to the ruins early and then the Cenotes on another trip.
Great attractions - worth a visit
Aldwark1, 05-01-2023
A well organised tour led by Ruth. Attractions, our host and driver were all excellent. Only grumble was the advertised duration of the tour @6 hours was inaccurate. The travelling time too/from Tulum and Cenote was much longer.

Yes there was an accident on freeway and traffic was jammed but we were picked up at 7am and didn’t get back to 6pm - 11 hours was too long. We deliberately didn’t want too long a tour as had plans that night.
Tour way over time limit
thudzungtran, 13-12-2022
Cenote swim both underground and outside was fabulous!
Tour took way too long as people on tour didn’t respect time to meet.
Tour lasted 9 hrs instead of 5!!
