On board enjoy the view and a refreshing beverage, while our captain start sailing towards the old mayan island of Isla Mujeres that includes one of the most beautiful beach in the world North beach (Playa norte), where you will have time to swim on their crystal blue waters. Be amazed of the history and colors while you walk on downtown of the island, do some shopping or just lay down on the white sand of the beach.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset while navigating back to CancĂşn with a margarita on hand and if you are brave enough, try our Spinnaker activity that will bring you up in the air for an amazing view.

We had an AMAZING TIME on the catamaran tour!! One of the highlights of the trip! Everything was so smooth and so professional. Alex was the best tour guide, we were so impressed with him! (Especially how he stayed with us until our taxi came to pick us up). A man with many talents and languages! Hope to see you soon, from your friends from Canada! Ă bientĂ´t!

We had the best time on this day trip! We looked around a lot before choosing it, but knew we wanted to be able to snorkel as well as have things like lunch included so we went with this one. The guys on the boat (Alberto!) were great; kept everyone entertained and made sure we all had drinks (we weren’t drinking alcohol that day but there was plenty of water and juice, too). I saw some people complain about the length of snorkeling time—I thought it was perfect. After about half an hour I was tired and ready to head back on board anyway. Remember there are kids out there too. If you want an hours-long snorkeling experience, that isn’t really what this trip is about. That’s a relatively minor activity included with the overall trip.
The buffet was fine, we didn’t expect a gourmet lunch. Our resort food has sucked anyway so anything was a welcome upgrade. We had enough time to shop and get in the water on the island, although I would have loved more time there. There are not many shady spots (but there are a few) on the catamaran so seriously… do not forget a hat and sunblock.
My one complaint is that we were asked to be there at 9, and we were—but ONLY we were there. We were told to sit and that we’d leave in 15-20 minutes, so we asked if we could go to an atm we had seen a 5 minute walk away, and we were told no. Other patrons didn’t start arriving until 9:30 and we didn’t take off until around 10:15. That was frustrating, but primarily because we were unable to run a 10 minute errand yet didn’t leave for over an hour.
Overall we really loved the trip and would definitely do it again if we visited.

Oliver, our guide, and the rest of his crew were very accommodating!
I also appreciated that Oliver was open and honest about the cautions of renting a golf-cart, but if we were going to do it anyway he told us what an honest rate was. He also prepared us for some the scams on the island like people pretending to be a wait staff from your hotel.
He pointed out the best places to eat, to sightsee, and shop. I felt fully prepared and confident we got the most out of our time on the island without paying too much!

Diamond Bright II trip to La Isla de Mujeres November 2022.

We went with Diamond Bright II crew. It was the best organized trip that we went to in Mexico. The crew was excellent, friendly, they taught of everything. We only had to relax and enjoy ourselves. I recommend this company to everyone, you won’t be sorry.

Full day's adventure with the catamaran's captain and crew. Really relaxed and hospitable and great way to spend a relaxing day on holiday with Mexican speciality lunch and the odd drink during the day trip to the islands off Cancun. Plenty of shade available for those preferring it. Plenty of swimming and loved the snorkelling round the underwater national park and treasures. Thank for a great day out.

Alex and the team were great. The sailing was awesome and the snorkelling was nice. The equipment is good quality. Isla mujeres was SO crowded and there were no golf charts available. The food was okay.
Only one thing for improvement, the tour was supposed to start at 9.30, but we didn’t board the boat until 10.20, so most people had waited in the sun on the dock for an hour.

Not a good choice for seniors

If you are a young person who likes to drink and party, this is the boat for you. If you are a senior, book a different tour. The y didn’t give me snorkeling equipment until I asked for it and then they questioned me twice about whether I can swim! They left us behind at Isla Mujeres even though our traveling companions told them we were missing. We missed the boat because they changed docks and we could not find the boat. They returned for us but we’re condescending again. Also note that Sept is hellishly hot

The crew were pretty cool but the ride itself to and from Isla Mujeres was not the best. We sat on the boat deck because seats were limited. So if you have a back problem like I do, take note you may be sitting on the top deck of the boat for awhile with no back support. The food was terrible and the island was extremely crowded. We were disappointed being that the beach itself was beautiful but with way too many people. I would recommend looking into an adventure who offers a private island tour (if that is available). The boat crew did provide us with plenty of drinks which was nice.

Things I did not like about this trip - 1. DO NOT GET THERE AT 9am . It says they’re leaving at 9, we didn’t leave until 10:30! What a waste of time waiting there in the sun getting eaten up by mosquitoes. No food or drink offered during this time. 2. No seating available on the boat! They definitely overbooked this trip and I felt like cattle on this boat! Extremely uncomfortable. 3. The buffet was disgusting! All we ate was the watermelon. Very bad food! 4. They say “arrive back here at 1:50pm! Not a minute late or we’re leaving!” So we all arrive at 1:48pm and they’re eating their lunch and won’t let us back on the boat til they’re done! Which was closer to 2! I know they have to eat too but why threaten us with a time and then make us stand there in the hot sun watching you eat?! 5. Music was annoying. I’m all about a good time with drinks and music but they wouldn’t take any of our requests. Just played either outdated songs or songs nobody knew. Made the ride even longer.
Things I liked- 1. Unlimited drinks/water/coke and… that’s it!
Will never book this again. Might as well have taken the ferry!
