A really, really beautiful tour with awesome tour guide, Gil? Or Kal?, that is worthy every penny. I wanted to do something different with my family this time around in Riviera Maya. I found about Contoy Island tour where only a limited number of tourists is allowed. The Island itself was beautiful and it was wonderful to see a preserved nature with an opportunity to frolick on a pristine beach. The best part of the tour was the guide. Gil (or Kal) was perfectly fluent in both English and Spanish, and he took the time and effort to make sure everyone was safe and having a good time. I had never met a guide so patient, knowledgeable, kind, and diligent as Gil (or Kal). Also, unlike many other tours in Mexico, he was not pushy about tips, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend not only the tour of Contoy Island but i hope you do it with Gil, or Kal.

Transport pick up very prompt. Amazing staff on boat tour and excursion! Very friendly and helpful! Always making sure you constantly had drinks and needs were being met at all times! Buffet was excellent and there was a good variety of food options, to choose from. Staff always working so hard, to meet your every need! Contoy Island was beautiful!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for beautiful water, nature and a day of relaxation!!

Isla Contoy es un paraíso..Nunca había visto algo así, una reserva de la biosfera espectacular. Lo recomiendo al 100 %.

Contoy is a lovely island. However, we spent lots of time (3.5 hours) on the boat: half hour from Cancon to Isla Mujeres (which is fine), 1.2 hours from Isla Mujeres to Contoy island (some people got sea sick), and 1 hour 45 mins from Contoy back to Cancun. We stopped on Contoy island for almost 2 hours, had lunch there, explored and walked on the beach ourselves - no local tour on Contoy island.
Crew members were very nice, working very hard to take care and entertain us all - I really appreciate that. However, I wish we knew the boat ride itself as 3.5 hours before hand.
